Sara “Nikki” Garrity joined Wyatt & Blake, LLP in March of 2020 as a legal assistant. Nikki attended Central Piedmont Community College and obtained an Associates of Arts degree in 2018. During her studies at CPCC, she was placed on the President’s List numerous times and won a scholarship essay contest. Nikki then studied at The University of North Carolina – Charlotte and in 2019 obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Political Science. While at UNCC, Nikki polished her legal and investigation skills, giving her a strong base for her professional career. Before joining the firm, she worked as a licensed associate private investigator for two years at Carolina Surveillance.
Since joining the firm in 2020 as a legal assistant, Nikki has provided legal support services and technological assistance to our attorneys who have represented clients in a variety of matters, including white collar criminal defense investigations and litigation, internal and government investigations, and various types of civil litigation. Nikki’s responsibilities include: analyzing case data and documents; drafting reports, memos and pleadings; creating and organizing witness preparation materials; and communicating with clients and counsel. Nikki is skilled in Microsoft and Adobe Suites, Outlook Exchange, Relativity, customer service, and has a deep technology background and knowledge.
Nikki got married in October of 2019, and enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs, hiking and playing guitar.
